How to share your Guesty calendar with your cleaner

Guesty keeps all your bookings in one place. Getting those dates to your cleaner is the harder part. Here's how Guesty handles cleaners, and a simpler way.

In Guesty, cleaners are added as users and log in to see the calendar and their tasks. If your cleaner won't use a login, export your Guesty calendar link and paste it into SheetDay. Your cleaner gets one simple page with every checkout, updated every hour.

How Guesty gives cleaners access

  • Add your cleaner as a user and give them a role that can see the calendar.
  • Assign cleaning tasks to them in Guesty.
  • Your cleaner logs in to Guesty with their own username to see their schedule.

That works for a cleaning company with an office. An independent cleaner who works for several hosts often ends up juggling apps and passwords, and the schedule goes unread.

Step 1: Copy your Guesty calendar link

  1. 1Sign in to Guesty and switch to Operations mode.
  2. 2Click Properties, then the listing you want to share.
  3. 3In the left menu, click Calendar, then choose Calendar sync (iCal).
  4. 4Next to Export your Guesty calendar, click Export Guesty calendar.
  5. 5Create the link under Guesty iCalendar link, then copy it.

Tip: Guesty makes one link per listing. Repeat the steps for each property.

Step 2: Paste the link into SheetDay

SheetDay is the bridge between Guesty and your cleaner. It reads your calendar link every hour and turns it into one simple page made for cleaning.

Guest details stay private

Your Guesty calendar link can include reservation details. SheetDay reads only the dates. Guest names, contact details and prices are never stored or shown to your cleaner.
