Guesty For Hosts shut down. Here's how to get your no-login cleaner calendar back.
Guesty For Hosts had a cleaner link that just worked. Here's what changed, and how to get the same simplicity back without leaving Guesty.

Quick answer
Guesty For Hosts had a Cleaner & Teammate Portal where your cleaner could see a read-only calendar without an app or a login. That product shut down on May 31, 2026. In Guesty Lite and Guesty Pro, cleaners are added as users who log in. If you want your cleaner back on one simple link, copy your Guesty calendar export link into SheetDay and send your cleaner the SheetDay link. It takes a few minutes, and your cleaner doesn't have to sign up for anything.
What changed
- Guesty For Hosts was the simple product many small hosts used, originally called Your Porter. Guesty ended support on January 15, 2026 and shut it down on May 31, 2026, moving hosts to Guesty Lite or Guesty Pro (Smoobu, HostReply).
- The old Cleaner & Teammate Portal let teammates preview a read-only calendar in real time, with no need to download an app or create a login (Guesty For Hosts help).
- In Guesty Lite, Guesty's own instructions are to add cleaners as users, give them a role that can view the calendar, and have them log into their new account with their username. Guesty also suggests having cleaners download the Guesty mobile app for tasks (Guesty Lite help).
- Adding a user means an email invitation, an activation link that expires after 7 days, and a unique email address for every person (Guesty help).
That works well for a team that already lives inside Guesty. It's a lot to ask of a cleaner who just needs to know which days to come.
Why I built SheetDay
My experience
- Most cleaners I know want to open one thing on their phone and see the checkout dates. They don't want another password to remember.
- A cleaner who works for several hosts can end up juggling a different app or login for every one of them, which is how dates get missed.
- When the schedule lives behind a login, it's easy to fall back on screenshots and texts, and those go out of date the moment a booking changes.
How to set it up with Guesty Lite or Guesty Pro
You don't need to leave Guesty. Guesty keeps running your bookings, and SheetDay just reads the calendar and shows it to your cleaner.
- 1In Guesty, open Listings and click the listing.
- 2In the left-side menu, click Calendar, then choose Calendar sync (iCal).
- 3Next to “Export your Guesty calendar,” click Export Guesty calendar (or Edit if you already made one), create the link and copy it.
- 4In SheetDay, add the property and paste the Guesty link.
- 5Send your cleaner the SheetDay link. They tap it and see the schedule. No account, no app.
Repeat steps 1 to 4 for each listing, since Guesty makes one export link per listing (Guesty Lite help). In Guesty Pro, switch to Operations mode and click Properties instead of Listings. The Guesty calendar guide walks through it.
Tip: Use Guesty's export link, not Airbnb's. When your Airbnb listing is connected to Guesty, Airbnb turns off its own iCal connection, so Guesty's export is the one that stays complete (Guesty Lite help).
- Guesty's export includes all your channels, so Airbnb, Vrbo and Booking.com stays end up on the same cleaner schedule.
- Leave “Adjust exported events” switched off. It moves the exported dates, and your cleaner should see the real check-in and checkout days.
- Guesty says calendar updates usually sync within an hour, so a last-minute booking can take a little while to show up. For same-day changes, a quick text to your cleaner is still the safest move.
- Guesty's export can also include blocks like preparation time and advance notice. SheetDay shows those as unavailable dates, not as cleanings.
What your cleaner sees
- A list and a calendar of upcoming stays, laid out around turnover days.
- Check-in and checkout dates only. No guest names, prices, phone numbers or addresses.
- Your notes for each property, right next to the cleaning they apply to.
- A button to mark a cleaning done, so you can see when it was finished.
- The language you choose for them.
If you manage several properties with more than one cleaner, each cleaner can get their own link showing only their properties.
Other options, honestly
- Guesty's built-in cleaner access makes sense if your cleaner is comfortable with a login and you want tasks managed inside Guesty.
- Turno is a good fit if you need to find, schedule and pay cleaners through a marketplace. It's more than you need if you already have a cleaner and just want them to see the schedule.
- Screenshots and texts cost nothing, but they go stale as soon as a booking changes.
- Sharing the iCal link into Google Calendar works for some cleaners, but it shows raw blocks instead of clear turnover days, and setup depends on the cleaner.
SheetDay is the simplest choice if you want your cleaner on one link with nothing to install or sign into.
Common questions
- Did Guesty For Hosts really shut down?
- Yes. Support ended on January 15, 2026, and the platform shut down on May 31, 2026. Hosts were moved to Guesty Lite or Guesty Pro.
- Can my cleaner still see my Guesty calendar without a login?
- Guesty Lite and Pro don't have the old portal's no-login view. Your cleaner can be added as a user who logs in, or you can share the calendar through a tool like SheetDay.
- Do I have to stop using Guesty?
- No. SheetDay works alongside Guesty. Guesty still runs your bookings and channels.
- Does my cleaner need an app or account?
- No. They open a link in their phone's browser.
- Will my cleaner see guest names?
- No. SheetDay shows dates and stay details only, never guest names, prices or contact information.
- What does it cost?
- SheetDay has a 7-day free trial with no credit card. After that it's $14.90 a month for up to 3 properties, or $29.90 a month for up to 25 properties with separate links for each cleaner.
- What if I'm leaving Guesty for another platform?
- Most property management platforms, including OwnerRez, Lodgify and Hospitable, have a calendar export link. SheetDay works the same way with any of them.
