How to share your Hostaway calendar with your cleaner

Hostaway keeps all your bookings in one place. Getting the cleaning schedule to your cleaner is the harder part. Here's how the Hostaway cleaner app works, and a simpler way.

The Hostaway cleaner app and login

  • Hostaway creates cleaning tasks from your bookings and assigns them to your cleaner.
  • Your cleaner sees their tasks in the Hostaway mobile app for iPhone or Android.
  • To use the app, your cleaner needs a Hostaway user account and logs in with it.

That works for a cleaning company with an office. An independent cleaner who works for several hosts often ends up juggling apps and passwords, and the schedule goes unread.

Step 1: Copy your Hostaway calendar link

  1. 1In Hostaway, go to Listings.
  2. 2Click Get iCal for the listing you want to share.
  3. 3Copy the link.

Tip: Each listing has its own link. Repeat the steps for each property.

Step 2: Paste the link into SheetDay

SheetDay is the bridge between Hostaway and your cleaner. It reads your calendar link every hour and turns it into one simple page made for cleaning.
